Proff Connect LWC

User guide for the Proff Connect Lightning Web Component.

Proff Connect includes a set of Lightning Web Components (LWCs) that can be added to your Salesforce pages to bring company and contact data directly into your workflow.

This page gives you a quick overview of each component and what it does. Click the links to go to the full setup instructions.

Account Components

New Account

Overrides the standard "New Account" button so users can search for and create accounts using verified Proff data. Alternatively, you can deploy it as a separate List View button to keep the standard creation flow available alongside Proff Connect.

Company Search – List Button

Adds a "Company Search" button to the Account list view. Clicking it opens a full-screen search interface where users can find companies and create Accounts or Leads directly from the results.

Sync Account

A quick action button on the Account record page. Clicking it pulls the latest data from Proff and updates the Account fields based on your field mapping configuration.

Note

Required fields: Organization Number and Country Code must be populated on the Account for Sync to work.

Company Insight

A rich data panel that can be placed on the Account page or on the Company Insight record page. Displays financials, shareholders, roles, subsidiaries, mortgages, and more. Also includes multiple read-only child components (Balance Sheet, Financial Overview, Shareholders, etc.) that can be placed individually on page layouts.

Displays a list of people with official registered roles at the company (General, Signatory, Procuration). From this component, users can create Salesforce Contacts directly, pre-filled with the person's professional data.

Contact Components

Sync Contact

A quick action button on the Contact record page. Updates the Contact with the latest data from Proff based on your field mapping.

Note

Required fields: Proff Person ID and Country Code must be populated on the Contact.

Contact Insight

Displays a person's professional profile directly on the Contact page, including their related roles in other companies, industry associations, and professional connections.

Lead Components

Enrich Lead

A component placed on the Lead page that enriches the Lead with company data from Proff. Uses the Organization Number or Company Name together with Country Code to find and map the correct data.

Note

Required fields: Organization Number or Company Name, and Country Code must be populated on the Lead.
